《科技与创新》原《微计算机信息》杂志自2013年7月正式变更为《科技与创新》杂志，在创办的过程中得到了中国科协和山西省新闻出版局的大力支持。为了进一步服务广大科技工作者，促进创新型科技人才的研究成果转化。经国家新闻出版广电总局批准（新出审字〔2013〕862号），

《科技与创新》以“关注科技前沿、交流创新成果、加快科技推广、营造创新氛围”为办刊宗旨，努力为科技工作者搭建科技成果交流的平台。本刊将积极为国家经济建设服务，关注创新型科技人才培养的最新动态，促进研究成果转化与交流，坚持高起点、高标准，突出指导性、实用性，主要发表反映各学科、各领域的科研创新成果方面的文章，以及刊登我国当前科技、经济、管理、工程、交通等各领域的优秀学术论文。在《科技与创新》杂志上公开发表的论文，均可通过国内各大数据库检索、查询，是作者科研、晋级等方面的权威依据。
